Work in schools is at the heart of what we do. We work in both primary and secondary schools across West Wiltshire. Currently, the secondary schools we work in on a regular basis are Lavington School, John of Gaunt School and Clarendon Academy and St Laurence School. The primary schools we work in weekly include Fitzmaurice Primary School, Five Lanes Primary School, St Barnabas’, Lavington and Holy Trinity, Great Cheverell.

Our focus in secondary schools is mentoring work and lessons and assemblies.

In primary schools we deliver assemblies and the Accompanying Project.

“Steve supports the children in our school and community by being a positive male role model, which is lacking in many of the young people’s lives in the community.  He delivers assemblies, and all the children can make a connection with him. For some children with particular issues, Steve works on targeted areas, for example the Accompanying Project which works with the more vulnerable children transferring on to Secondary School.  We really value all that Steve does for us, as there is no one else available to fulfil this role, and we are grateful for his time and support.” (Deputy Head Teacher at Five Lanes Primary School)
