Feeling disconnected has a significant negative impact on the mental health of young people. As a Christian organisation we believe that connecting with young people can have a significantly positive impact on their lives. This is why we invest in mentoring.

Our recent Connect Mentoring training on 9th June saw 15 people come to be trained to support vulnerable young people. It was such an encouragement to meet these folk, spend the day with them and equip them to work with young people.  We are now working with those who have signed up to mentor in Wiltshire schools, to get them ready for mentoring in September.

Watch the film below to see how the project is making a difference in the lives of young people and what schools think about the importance of this work. Connect Mentoring currently takes place at St. Laurence School, Clarendon Academy, John of Gaunt School and Lavington School. We are starting conversations with others who are interested in delivering the project in other parts of Wiltshire and will keep you posted on developments.
